Abstract
Cilj ovog završnog rada je prikazati na koji način je mcdonaldizacija postala dio naše svakodnevice, a posebice način na koji je utjecala na državnu upravu, regionalnu i lokalnu samoupravu. Kroz teorijski dio ovoga rada objašnjen je pojam „McDonaldizacije“, te opisansustav mijenjajućeg karaktera suvremenog društvenog života kroz istraživanje McDonaldizacije društva. Glavna teza ovog istraživanja mijenjajućeg karaktera suvremenog društva odnosno mcdonaldizacije je da principi fast-food restorana... More dominiraju mnogim područjima suvremenog društva, te ne pogađaju samo ugostiteljstvo već i sva ostala područja života.T akođer su objašnjene dimenzije McDonaldizacije, kao i njezine negativne strane. Prilikom izrade ovog završnog rada korištene su razne sociološke metode i tehnike. Bila je potreba za primjenjivanjem raznih znanja iz sociologije i socioloških teorija društva te znanja iz sustava državne uprave i samouprave, ali isto tako i znanja iz promjene prehrambenih navika koje su nastupile u poslijednjem stoljeću. Nadalje, potreban je bio kvantitativni i kvalitativni pristup ovom znanstvenom problemu. Kvantitativna metoda temeljena je na brojkama, mjerilima te statističkim i matematičkim podacima. Kvalitativna metoda bila je usmjerena ka ljudskom faktoru i subjektivnim pojavama, opisima i interpretacijama.Max Weber je iznio teorijuo racionalizaciji i birokraciji koja je preteča istraživanja o mcdonaldizaciji društva, a idejni začetnik ove teorije je američki sociolog George Ritzer. Temeljna literatura ovog završnog rada je njegova knjiga pod nazivom: „McDonaldizacija društva. Istraživanje mijenjajućeg karaktera suvremenog društva.“ U empirijskom dijelu ovoga rada objašnjene su dimenzije McDonaldizacije (učinkovitost, mjerljivost, predvidljivost i kontrola)kroz konkretne primjere rada djelatnika u gradskoj upravi Grada Virovitice. Na kraju rada dana suzaključna razmatranja ove teme, te su navedene pozitivne i negativne strane utjecajamcdonaldizacije na rad gradske uprave. Less
Abstract (english)
The goal of this dissertation is to illustrate how McDonaldization became part of everyday life, and especially the influence it had on state, regional, and city council. Through the theoretical part of this thesis, the concept of McDonaldization is explained and a system described that shows the changing character of contemporary social life through the research of McDonaldization. The main thesis of this study is that the principles of fast-food restaurants dominate many areas of modern... More society, and affect not only the hospitality but also all other areas of life. Also explained are the dimensions of McDonaldization, as well as its negative side. In preparing the final paper, a variety of sociological methods and tech-niques were used. There was a need to apply a variety of knowledge from sociology and soci-ological theories as well as the knowledge from state administration and also the habits of dietary changes that have occurred in the last century. Furthermore, it takes a quantitative and qualitative approach to this scientific problem. Quantitative methods are based on figures, measurements, and statistical and mathematical data. Qualitative methods were focused on the human factor and subjective descriptions and interpretations. Max Weber set forth the theory of streamlining bureaucracy which is the forerunner of research on the McDonaldization of society and the creator of this theory is the American sociologist George Ritzer. The main literature of this dissertation is his book titled “McDonaldization of society. Researching the changing character of modern society. The empirical part of this paper explains the dimensions McDonaldization (efficiency, meas-urability, predictability, and control) through concrete examples of the work of employees in the city council of the city of Virovitica.
