Abstract
Pružanje zdravstvene zaštite je sastavni dio zdravstvenog sustava koji u Republici Hrvatskoj pripada socijalnom sustavu. Prijeko je potrebna državna intervencija u zdravstvenom sustavu jer očuvanje zdravlja nije jeftino i iziskuje velike troškove. U Republici Hrvatskoj je prisutan model socijalnog osiguranja gdje se sredstva za zdravstvenu zaštitu prikupljaju preko obveznih doprinosa uplaćenih od strane zaposlenika i poslodavaca. Prisutan je opći nedostatak sredstava uz rastuću zdravstvenu potrošnju. Razvojem tehnologije u medicini, produžavanjem prosječnog života, starenjem stanovništva, rastom nezaposlenosti, a sve je manje sredstava osigurano. Iz provedenog istraživanja se može zaključiti da hrvatski zdravstveni sustav nije održiv, te se upravo iz tog razloga treba provesti reforma zdravstvenog sustava.
Abstract (english)
Provision of health care is an integral part of the health system that belongs to the Republic of Croatia according to the social system. There is a need for state intervention in the health care system because health care is not cheap and requires high costs. In the Republic of Croatia, there is a social insurance model in which health care is collected through compulsory contributions paid by employees and employers. There is a general lack of funds with rising healthcare costs. The development of technology in medicine, prolongation of average life, aging of the population, growth of unemployment and less resources is assured.
