Abstract
Revizija je proces kojim se ispituju poslovne aktivnosti i događaji koji se temelje na prikupljenim dokazima. Revizijom se nastoji utvrditi da li je na pošten i objektivan način prikazano financijsko stanje poduzeća. Kriterij objektivnosti su dosljedna i konkretna primjena općeprihvaćenih računovodstvenih načela i standarda. Državna revizija obavlja se u ime i za račun države. Državnu reviziju obavljaju vrhovne revizijske institucije, a to je u Republici Hrvatskoj Državni ured za reviziju. Zadaća državne revizije je pružiti informacije građanima o poslovanju, te izvijestiti javnost o upravljanju javnim sredstvima. Izvješće državne revizije dostavlja se Hrvatskom saboru, te javnosti putem internetske stranice Državnog ureda za reviziju. Cilj ovog završnog rada je analizirati imovinu dvije jedinice lokalne i područne (regionalne) samouprave, a to su Vukovarsko-srijemske i Međimurske županije kroz tri godine, te na temelju provedenog istraživanja donijeti zaključke o obavljenoj reviziji.
Abstract (english)
An audit is the process by which business activities and events are examined based on the collected evidence. The audit seeks to determine whether the financial position of the company is presented in a fair and objective manner. Objectivity criteria are consistent and concrete application of generally accepted accounting principles and standards. State audit is performed on behalf and for the account of the state. State audit is performed by supreme audit institutions, which is the Republic of Croatia's State Audit Office. The task of the state audit is to provide information to citizens on business, and to inform the public about the management of public funds. The State Audit Report shall be submitted to the Croatian Parliament and to the public through the website of the State Audit Office. The aim of this final paper is to analyze the assets of two units of local and regional self-government, namely the Vukovar-Srijem and Međimurje counties over three years, and to draw conclusions on the conducted audit based on the conducted research.
