The purpose of this research is to analyse waste water in three slaughterhouses. Two slaughterhouses drain their waste water into the natural recipient, and the third slaughterhouse drains its waste water into the city collector. We analyzed the temperature of water and air, color, odor, pH, COD, BOD5, total oil and grease, anionic detergents, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, depositing substances, and total chlorine, in order to determine whether the water is discharged into this the intended recipient or need agingin lagoons. Samples were analyzed in authorized laboratory according to certified and accredited methods.The results showed that the analyzed samples of waste water belong to biodegradable waste water and prior to discharge into a common plant must purify the physical, physico-chemical and biological processes, in order to match the results of the Ordinance on limit values of the main indicators of the maximum allowable concentration of substances in industrial waste water.
